THE BLUEPRINT OF THE LYT MOVEMENT
Phase 1: Reset
The Reset
Our classes start with The Reset. The Reset consists of exercises that help your body to reestablish a neutral position. Our daily routine often creates an imbalance in our body and posture, so these functional movement exercises will work to set a balanced foundation through core strengthening and mobility drills before moving on to the yoga flow.
Phase 2: Renew
Mobilize
The next step we include in our classes is mobilization. This involves a series of yoga and functional movements to mobilize and warm up your joints. This will better prepare your body to move with improved range of motion for the duration of the class and in life.
Phase 3: Redefine
The Stream
The last stage included in our class is The Stream. We will stream the sequences together in order to challenge your body and brain. When you perform these movement based exercises repeatedly, the movements will start to become natural and instinctive. These exercises are to help you redefine your movements in your everyday life.
