But how do we live a life without attachment? How do we evolve in every area of our lives — work, pleasure, home life, inner growth — but not grasp and hold onto things? At a certain point, you have to be okay with the way that things turn out.

Where do you feel like you’re grasping something? Listen to the episode to help you identify attachment in your life, let go, and be free of it.

  • 291 | Market With Meaning | with Brendan Kane

Marketing genius Brendan Kane joins us today to help us get the message out into the world of how to move better in their bodies.

Marketing is all a matter of sharing how your company, product, or service can help someone. If you can explain what makes you uniquely brilliant in your offering, you will see results from your marketing efforts and get your message out there to more people.

For someone who’s practicing yoga and wants to get their message out there, here are three tips to enhance your marketing:

    • If you are local you are going to see much less competition, so take advantage of local advertising platforms such as local newspapers, Yelp, or Google search.
    • Understand the lifetime value of a typical customer and determine how much you are willing to spend to acquire that customer.
    • Be clear about how you differentiate yourself from other people competing in the same field.

Essential in any of this is having a strong reason for why you do what you do, because it’s hard work growing a business. The people who have an underlying foundation for why they are doing what they are doing are going to have the resilience to push through and keep doing what they are doing.

    289 | Instant CALM

We could all use some calm in our lives. If you’re feeling a lack of calm, I want to walk you through what you can do to lower your nervous system using this acronym:

A – Aim for one minute of closed eyes and following your breath.

L – Lightly tap your body.

M – Make room for stillness

286 | Go Find Your Group

While we’re all more isolated by necessity, there are so many benefits to finding a group for self-improvement. It’s more important than ever to break out of our shells.

When we’re by ourselves, we can grow unaware of our bad habits because they become automatic, but once we’ve put ourselves in a group where those bad habits are not accepted, or the good habits we aren’t doing for ourselves are the norm, it puts us in stark contrast and motivates us to make changes.
